NRFABCON members were treated to a presentation from Fire Ecologist and former Byron Shire Council officer, Andy Baker on the Clay heath of Byron Bay.
The Spring NRFABCON meeting was hosted by Byron Shire Council. Members were treated to a presentation from Fire Ecologist and former Byron Shire Council officer, Andy Baker. Andy spoke of the history behind Council’s efforts to save and restore the remaining areas of clay heath along the Byron coast. Frequent fire is an important part of the mix .
