Membership
Membership is open to anyone with a genuine interest in ecologically sustainable fire management. Under our constitution, members can be individuals or organisations. Current membership is $20, covering you now through to 30 June 2027. All memberships will renew on 1 July each year.
If interested in joining the organisation please download the membership form here and send it to the Secretary at info@nrfabcon.org.au.
We also welcome participants and non-members — those who prefer not to formally join — at our workshops, AGM’s and field days. You can join the NRFABCON mailing list at any time without becoming a member.
Meetings
General meetings are held bi-monthly online. Our AGM takes place each August, with elections of office bearers and reports from the President, Treasurer and when in place, Coordinator. Field days are open to all.
Constitution
NRFABCON is a not-for-profit organisation governed by our constitution, which is based on the model rules. It has not been amended since 2013, and we are currently in the process of updating it to reflect subsequent changes in the law.
Our constitution is based on the model rules of the Associations Incorporation ACT, 2009. The committee are currently updating the constitution which will be brought to members through a Special General Meeting in the new year.
